NZPIL WINS MAJOR SWEDEN POST CONTRACT

Milano, 22 dicembre 1999 - Nzpil, a wholly owned subsidiary of New Zealand Post Limited, today announced that it had secured a multimillion dollar contract associated with licensing Sweden Post to manufacture New Zealand designed postie sorting cases in Sweden. The contract, which was subject to worldwide tender and intense competition, is Nzpilīs first major contract win in Scandinavia. The design of the postie sorting cases achieves considerable efficiencies in the sorting of mail. The design was developed in New Zealand and incorporates ergonomics where the cases can be fully adjusted to suit an individual operatorīs preference. This innovative design and the proven efficiency gains through the use of the equipment won the day for Nzpil. Nzpil has sold similarly designed sorting cases around the world and as a result of manufacture in Sweden, opportunities for Nzpil to sell similar equipment to other Ec countries are now possible.
